We love dogs and believe that, while all dogs have some similarities, each dog is also unique in how they need to be communicated with, rewarded, and engaged. In this way, no two dogs are exactly alike, and our training program allows the flexibility to work with your dog as the one-of-a-kind pup they are.
Each module has definite outcomes attached, but how we accomplish those outcomes varies from client to client, to help set you and your dog up for the greatest success.

E-Collar Training Track
We are a balanced trainer and we believe in using the best training approach for the dog in front of us at the moment. Every dog deserves a chance, and there are many dogs who need the added communication provided by a tool, such as an e-collar. No, they are not for every dog (or every owner) but for the fearful, anxious dog living constantly in a state of uncertainty where they can't hear, comprehend, or respond to other forms of communication, tools provides hope, and an opportunity for a different life. Dogs entering the E-Collar Training Track must first successfully complete, at a minimum, the Obedience Training Track modules OT01 and OT02 to ensure they have mastered the foundational concepts of command shaping, creating dialog, body & leash pressure, accountability, marker use, meeting state of mind, and matching reward value to environment. They must also demonstrate a clear understanding of sit, place, come, out (both creating space and calling out of a situation), drop, and a basic loose leash heel in low to medium distraction, with duration where appropriate (sit and place).
